Kailashgiri
Kailasagiri is a hilltop park in Visakhapatnam, India, in Andhra Pradesh. The park was developed by the Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA) and comprises 380 acres (150 ha) of land covered with flora and tropical trees. The hill, at 173 meters (568 ft), overlooks the city of Visakhapatnam.

Vuda Park
Spread over 55 acres, the VUDA Park is renowned for its well-landscaped lawns and various plants. The Park has a variety of flowering plants, 2,500 trees, and hedge plants. This urban park is located on the beachfront and is a popular destination in the city for leisure activities. The Park is extremely well-equipped and boasts playpens, a boating club, a yoga center, a multi-gymnasium, pagodas, a musical fountain, and Kala Vedika.

RK Beach
The Rama Krishna Beach, or RK Beach as it is commonly called, is one of the best-known beaches and tourist spots in Vizag, attracting a large number of visitors. Swimming, sunbathing and beach volleyball are popular activities on the beach.

Indira Gandhi National Zoological Park
The Indira Gandhi Zoological Park in Visakhapatnam is located on the national highway and covers an area of 250 hectares. This is the second largest zoological park in the state, after Hyderabad Zoo. It boasts a rich collection of flora and fauna, including some exotic species of animals from Australia. The Park has more than 400 varieties of fauna. The Park opened its doors to the public in 1972 and today offers deer safari, it has five enclosures for monkeys and primates, special dens for lions and tigers, six enclosures for deer, and eight specially designed enclosures for small mammals.

INS Kursura Submarine Museum

Dolphin’s Nose
Dolphin’s Nose is a huge rocky headland, around 174 meters in height. It is located in the southern part of Vizag. The rock gets its name because of its resemblance to a dolphin’s nose and is located 358 meters above sea level. It projects majestically out into the Bay of Bengal and is a natural formation that attracts many visitors. On top of the rock formation is a huge lighthouse, which is renowned for its powerful beam.

Bheemunipatnam
Bheemunipatnam is a town located close to Vijayawada and is known for its historical heritage. Local legend claims that the town was established during the days of the Hindu Epic, Mahabharatha, and was named after Bheema. However, archaeological evidence discovered in the region puts the origins of the tow to about the 3rd century BCE and shows that the town was closely associated with early Buddhism.

Simhachalam
The Shri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha temple, Simhachalam is a South Indian Hindu temple situated on the Simhachalam hill, which is 800 meters above sea level at a distance of ten miles to the north of Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. It is dedicated to one of the Hindu trinity deities Vishnu, who is worshipped there as Varaha Narasimha.

Araku valley
Araku Valley is a comparatively unexplored hill station mostly visited by locals as a weekend getaway and is situated some 120 kilometers away from Vishakhapatnam. Borra Caves
These caves are located 1,400 meters above sea level in Visakhapatnam’s Anantagiri area. The caves are famous for their beautiful stalagmite and stalactite formations. Borra Caves have both religious and historical significance. The locals flock to the caves to worship a Shivalinga and an idol of Kamadenu, the divine bovine goddess of Hindu mythology. This idol is located deep inside caves.

Shilparamam
Shilparamam Vizag is an art and craft village in Madhurawada, Visakhapatnam and is a popular sculpture park. The entrance to the village has been made to replicate a village house with three windows at the top. You can see sculptures of villagers looking down from these windows. Shilparamam is surrounded by beautiful landscape and the entrance to the village is decorated artistically. There are 36 stalls at the village that display woodworks, clothes, jewelry and local handicrafts of each region of the country. Each stall also keeps a variety of traditional produce.
